electric start weight?

My sled came with electric start and i dont really care for it.. Just wondering if its worth my time to remove it, i know that battery has to weigh about 10 pounds. Is it a big job to remove the electric start and all the wiring?

Buy an Earth X lithium battery. Weighs about 2lbs, at that point the weight is really not bad.

That's exactly what I did and took off nine pounds. That is with an Earth X battery with a higher rating than stock. Other than that you have about another nine pounds to go.
