ds 90 brakes are crap

Has anybody found a solution to the crappy brakes on the ds 90 , hard to pull for kids and dont stop worth a dam
i replaced the shoes even

odd....we've had a DS 90 since '05 and the brakes haven't been a problem at all. the youngest did "skid outs" (as he calls them) all the time with his with the back brakes using the lever. the only thing I've ever had to do to that thing is remove the spark arrestor screen and clean it, it was clogged with oil and choking it off.

I agree with you 100%... They are crap.... To say the least. I have the exact same brakes on the Outlaw 90. I have changed the shoes and even machined a 7/32" grove in pads to mitigate water... Still no luck. If u want to spend the bucks u can upgrade the front to disc brakes from Brakes: Maximum RPM

If u find something in the while please let me know.
