Do you pack a tow rope?

There's a polaris in our group, of course I carry a tow rope.

The more line you have the less you will need to use it.

I had some left over 3/16 cable so I clamped and thimbled a latching hook on each end. It made an excellent 25' winch cable extension, and with my snatch block I can winch my self out of any mess. I also bought a tow rope that I only used once...but it was in an alkalie mudhole. The next time I used it, it broke off at the loop, so I retied it and it broke again. From then on, I wash my new tow rope and winch line after every use, cuz they apparently are susceptable to corrosion from high concentrations of saline..

Get a Princess Auto tow rope. No matter how mant times you break them they will give you a new one.

thats the joys of princess auto they never ask questions and always help you out. I also carry about 60' of each tow rope and 3/16" cable just incase

Really? Good to know! We have 2 tow ropes from them but didn't know that
