difference in 800r cranks?

Is the 08 crank different than the 09?
How?
Is it just the mag/stator housing that is different?

on the '09 the stator end is bigger in diameter than the '08 crank.

I can't say what all is different other than the stub size and flywheel for sure

stator and recoil housing is the same the crank on 09 and 10 is longer on the mag side it's a different flywheel

yep just had a08- 872 built went with newer crank and needed to upgrade to 2009 flywheel.08 Stator and pick Up .

Ok, so are the 09 and up cranks better? What about the e-tek crank , any different?
