DECEMBER Snow conditions

Rode Lucille today was a great day. Limited visibility as it was snowing good all day. The snow in the lower areas was 14" deep. Some hills had snow on them and others could use some more. Here are some pics. Also the group I took out to show them around a bit had purchased there sled from Martin Motorsport's. It was Curtis from Varda's sled they said.

Arrived in town to Rain/Sleet and +2 degrees! Yuk! All trails groomed, Renshaw is a one way ride! Maybe! Top of chute up to Cabin be aware Hotrod couldn't make it and had to turn around so there is a couple of BIG ruts from the Snowcat tracks! Snow is good up top when you get there!

The temps are supposed to drop to -3 by noon here in McBride and start snowing in town again. Can see this morning it was snowing up top.. The guys that came off of lucielle yesterday said there was more fresh snow up there than they have seen in very long time.The reports from renshaw was its really deep. The snow is heavy tho. Even tho snow is heavy reports are awesoe riding rom al three hills round McBride.

+2 right now with a rain/snow mix coming down. The boys went up Renshaw today so we will see what they have to say at the end of the day. The roads are like a skating rink so those of you travelling here PLEASE be careful.

Up Belle today, started out in the pouring rain, made it to the parking lot(Barely). A trailer had jackknifed, very, very slippery!!! Park by the collection shack to be safe! Especially if you're a rookie! Snowed all day, hard, started out with a couple of decent stucks but hit the perimeter for some excellent snow. 2ft made for a nice first day! Off the hill a 4pm and it was puking big wet flakes!!!! Higgins.

We rode reshaw today, the snow was insane. Very deep. We headed in on 27 to black water and shot up towards the ant hills. The snow was even deeper once in this area. And very wet heavy snow. Barry and I both blew our belts today. Visibility was tough today as it was snowing and quite foggy. The way down was quite rough and snowing very heavy wet BIG Flakes. We were all soaked even wearing Klim or Motorfist Clothing. The drying room at mountain haven is working double overtime. Here's a few pics
