Talked to couple camping out at the base of Quartz Saturday night. They were unloading at around 3-4Km with decent snow once it warmed up in the afternoon.

About 3 inches of new at Silent Pass Sunday. A great day to do some exploring. Found some good snow and great terrain. Had a blast. Awesome for May 3rd.:d:d

Partly cloudy til about 2PM then blue bird. Snow really softened up around 4PM. Had so much fun I did not head back until 8PM.

Unloaded at 46Km just past McMurdo Bridge. Drive in mostly bare except for 33Km to 36Km.

Rode Boulder Mtn in Revy on Saturday and not near as good a Silent.

So you are pretty much driving to the waterfall then?

And thanks for the pics.

No. Just past McMurdo BRIDGE (first turn off the main road on 46Km marker). Another 14 km or so to the waterfall.

3 to 4 inches new at Silent Pass.:d but very heavy snow. Day was cut shot from a blown belt. Forgot my new belt at the truck so limped back on a used belt. Wished I could have laid a few more tracks.

Unloaded at 49Km marker. Snow coverage all the way from there. It was a pretty tight fit on the trail from 47 to 49Km. See last picture.
