Yeah. Road was quite the adventure. Lol.
Snow was amazing up top. Rained Friday but Sunday was bluebird.
No ice cave on Vertabrae this year though.

How long did the drive take you?? Couple of us headed there tomorrow!!
hope to hookup with another couple riders while we are there!

That was quite the hole two yrs ago! If a guy wasn't paying attention could of gone bad.

For all you campers:

Please leave us guests with some room to park.

I have been told that there is no room for us to park, and people are leaving piles of beer cans and garbage in the parking lot.

For the slob campers: Clean up after yourselves. I heard staff are taking pictures of licence plates and garbage, on a daily basis.

Seriously? There was the occasional piece of wotever popping out of the melting snow but not wot u described. The campers were great ppl. Locals r the bigest douchebags.
Road is brutal. Mud tires, a good crew with straps, chains and a game plan. Id like to back next weekend with a trailer but DAMN !!!

Sorry, as for the beer cans, that was last spring. We saw a huge mess when we loaded up. It was shameful.

Good point Mark...it's one thing to go up there and use all of the access trails cut in by Chatter Creek lodge and not pay a dime. It's another thing to use all of their parking lot (which they maintain) and the people that support them are left scrambling for parking.

Road was in better shape today coming out still some soft spots but frozen under the slop. Take your time and all should be good

We were the first guys out this morn, road is doable, the rutted out spots have hard bottoms and looks worse than they are......except the hole at 21km, it's exactly as bad as it looks, leave the enclosed at home!

One post says motor homes are making it and one says not to take an enclosed trailer. I guess we are still guessing.

Rental motorhomes that the day trippers drag in were getting out yes, but I can't imagine what the under carriages looked like!
Its 70 km of virtually unmaintained forestry road in the heart of spring!! Can you get bigger units in?? Yah likely, but a truck and deck is always your best bet!!
