call waiting

talking to someone on the phone and they take a call waiting, talk about rude. let voice mail take the call, what are your thoughts, do you get even?

when i call anywhere and voicemail picks up i hang up.I would rather be on hold for a min. then leave a message and who knows when the guy will call back...Plus you don't know how important the other incoming call is.

If it really bothers me I'll let the person know my thoughts, and after that it is up to them to change the way they operate their phone.

i feel the same way when someone takes a call in a public place, all of a sudden they get real loud, talk about stupid crap, no consideration for anyone else

I have no problem taking another call it is part of business. Every one do as they choose. Look at customer service lines such as telus or bell they put on hold for up to 30 minutes. If your phone or cable is out you have to wait.
