2008 xp-x I heard you have to lift the engine to replace throttle cable? There has to be an easier way to rekenoider the shitsiation! Anybody had to do this or heard the same???

yah its not the throttle cable thats the issue its the oil pump cable thats the problem.

so yes.

disconnect exhaust system. unbolt the 4 motor mounts. remove the secondary clutch.

lean it forward to reconnect at the oil pump

This is the easiest way. Unless you have freakishly small hands like this guy unbolt the engine.

I tried to hook up my oil pump cable without bolting the motor and almost lost my mind.

ya. one of the reasons i delete oil injection. NEVER deal with that oil pump/cable again.

makes the engine removal/install process about an hour faster
