Have a 2012 800 rmk engine total rebuil bottom up. Sat for couple years took for a ride about 10 miles and bubbles in coolant tank . Head gasket? Thanks for opinions.

Is it low on coolant?

Was the cooling system ever purged of air properly when it was rebuilt?

My guess is this is the cause, when it cools down you'll be low on coolant, top it off and keep going. Those water pumps like to aerate the coolant when the level is low.

These engines don't have head gaskets, they just use o-rings in a machined groove in the top of the cylinder.

Coolant tank is full . Lifted front end opened bleed screw didn't seem like any air came out.

if it isn't pushing coolant out or overheating don't be concerned. when the thermostat is open the coolant flow is hauling ass. its always a little more full and has bubbles after a rip. if it has a bad oring the coolant will be turbulent in the bottle when cold. also be pushing out coolant.
