Hey guys what do u recommend for a good adjustable weight set up....

I like the Cutler system for Cats as you can adjust w/out taking primary clutch off..

Anybody make a similar set up for the Polaris??

Thanks

We use Dalton QAP weights. Super easy to adjust and a quality part.

great ..thanks I found a supplier close to me....

do you know if you give up any performance for the quick adjustablility?

I see that most of the adjustable weights are weighted at the tip and the middle of the cam arm and "those manufuacturers" say that they perform better.....

Are you running the stock primary spring?? If not what shud I go to?

Any help on Polaris clutching wud be much appreciated..

Daltons are good in that you don't need to pull anything apart to adjust your weights. Just change a set screw that is accessible at rest. Not sure if position of adjustable part is best for performance or not, sure is convenient though.

Dalton's work good on the 800's have them in my 09 800 Dragon.I also have the HeavyHitters adj weights they work good also but you have to pull out the weight to adj but can add or remove weight in 3 diff places also can adj to.4 of a gram. They are more work but once you get on to them it's easy.I would also recommend Thunder Products glide washer kit for the primary. You put one washer at each end of the primary spring to take out the coil-bind,your spring will last longer and won't gouge into the spider or the cover.
