Has anyone been out in the Bearberry area this season yet? How is it looking out there?

Where is the staging area for trailers?

Thank you. :)

Any where there is snow
Have not been out this year but have been hearing rumors of thigh deep snow in the Rocky, Caroline area; keep in mind these are rumors. The staging area is about 3 miles west of the Bearberry Salon, when you are on the hi-way west of Bearberry do not follow it when it makes the sharp turn north keep going west on the gravel until you come to a t intersection and the staging area is right there just to your left. I am sure the gate is open to the parking lot and I know the Olds Club would like it if you sign the guestbook.

I wish I could!
Snow was really good on the weekend. The warm temps. have it set-up alot more now.
There isn't 3-3.5 feet like hilly suggested but it is deep for here in Dec.

What's the riding in these areas like? My uncle and cousin would like to make some day trips this winter, get away from the usual areas we ride, and were wondering if it's strictly on-trail or is there areas we can play around in as well?

There are some areas to play in, just have to poke around and find them, some are more obvious than others. Just be careful about hidden hazards. You can spend a whole season riding out there and still would not see what all there is to see.

With the warmer temps there is going to be a good base now, couple more feet of snow and it will be great!
