I have owned my Banshee for the past 17 yrs, and she been pretty much flawless for me. Last Sept. long I took it out camping, and it usually gets ridden a couple of times at home in the summer as well.
So my dilema is; It will start after 3 kicks, idle up untill it warm and then die. It will restart with a pull start, but not by kicking it over. Without putting new batteries in my multi-meter and pulling some impedence test's. I'm thinking that the CDI is shot???
It has a 300 watt stator, with a voltage reg off of a 97 Summit. But neither of them should effect start up when warm, or from being pull started.

Any thought's or advise would be appreciated   :D

I'm no mechanic but could it have to do with the compression from cold to hot

Compression is good, and if compression was the case. It would be harder to start cold than warm.
