Well not only the men who assume things ;) I wasnt exactly offended by the below story but I had a good laugh as I walked out to my truck thinking of this thread!

Was passing thru the city and stopped in at a sled deck shop to grab a few small parts for my deck. Walked in and a lady was there, asked if I needed help. Told her what I was looking for & the first thing out of her mouth was "Do you know what generation deck "HE" has?" LOL So i asked her to clarify what the difference was between generations as I was unaware and as soon as she said I was able to tell her. Then I said 'well the trucks outside there w the deck if you rather check"

haha like I said, not offended but thought it funny as per our thread ;)

Yup, no point in being nice anymore, people just A$$ume you think they are useless if you offer help. Thats why i usually only offer assistance to older people who appreciate the help.

Half the time you offer assistance, they get offended. ...yet it seems they get offended 100% of the time if you don't offer.
