So, this season I have noticed that the boards on my pro are icing up. The build up is happening on the outside edge, in the machine ridge, between the cleats. I'm guessing it's from stomping snow through all day, because it only starts to happen in the last few hours of riding. And it's only the outside rail that builds up, since there is a small lip/channel for it to build up in.

So, my question is- do the powder coated ones do this?

I had my pro boards powder coated and also metallic clear coat. My boards were the cleanest of anybody in our group. Buddies axys with bare aluminum were terrible for holding snow and another had powder coated without clear coat, was better than bare but not as good as mine.

TOPGUN Coatings does a fantastic job they did my dirtbike frame and its held up for several years. They kind of specialize in smaller parts and pieces. They also have a ceramic coating that I did the head pipe on thats held up as well.
