Just like the title says, anybody add a second awning to a Travel Trailer? Would like to have the entire entrance side covered by awning?

yeah i added a extra awning over the main slide of my travel trailer, love it. keeps rain, snow, any other junk off the roof of the slide. im sure there is a model for auto or manual awnings for any place on your trailer

I install lots of awnings on both cargo and rv trailers. Give me a ring and we can get it measured up for you.

Thanks,

Ron

Do you do powered awnings too, or just manual? Thinking about adding a second awning to my fifth wheel, but attached to the main super slide.

I do install power awnings but the cost is the deciding factor for most customers. I also replace just the fabric on old awnings and slide awnings.

Have a 28' TT with damaged awning & supports. What info would you need off old awning or trailer to get something priced out??

My husband is a Journeyman RV Tech. He can give you information or a quote if you would like. His name is Dave and you can text/call him at 780-974-0641.

On a related topic, for those out there that have awnings over the slide-outs on their RV's, how are they when it gets windy? Do they flap and bang around?

They will flap around a bit, but are designed to withstand the elements better than a patio awning. They usually have pretty good weatherguards on them and tend to stay a bit tighter. That being said, any time you encounter crazy wind, there is always a risk for them to rip. However, my husband has been dealing with RV's since 2006 and has never encountered a damaged slide topper from wind. Mostly tears and human damage.

What would a ball park cost be for a 18 foot manual awning installed on enclosed run a guy?
