Need some info? I just purchased a 99 RMK 700 needed some tinkering but now i cant get the dang thing to idle down stays at 3000 to 3400 RPM any ideas???

what have ya done so far

If it's still running the Keihin carbs they probably need to be syncronized properly. Thats the first thing i'd do.

cleaned carbs and repaired hood wiring harness (belt blew and hooked the wires) other wise not much. someone told me to check 4 vacume leeks! I could not find any by spraying carb. boots with carb cleaner.

spray around your crank seals as well. could of wrapped belt/ or wiring in behind primary and too out seal. thats what just happened to mine.

nope ya can leave it on
if its leaking the vapours wil get sucked in

Ok you cleaned your carbs. What main jet, pilot jet and needle are you using??

check to make sure the carb slides are in properly if it idled good be for that might be your problem. They are hard to get in and get the pin lined up on the side of the slide sometimes

Thank you for all the help!!! It turns out to be the crank seal is leaking after they blew the belt. I appreciate all the help. Thanks again!!!!!!
