what is the advantage of a carbon fibre rotary valve on a 670? if there is any? i have found one that i believe to be the 501 cut. just wondering what it is worth and what are its advantages. thanks.

The only advantage to the CF rotary valve is weight, and they dont chew up the cover. Set the 501 valve to 96 Mach 1 timing specs, you'll be pleased.

wow that would be a big dif then heh.lol. misse dthe deal anyway went for 30 bucks and i maxed it at 22.50. will still look for a 501 but not really eager as it hauls with the stock one in it.
