Do it..Don't do it. I'm really leaning towards the 3" but is it really worth the work or just throw a 2.5 Xtreme and be done.Really like to hear some honest feed back on clutching, and pics of angling the lugs to clear the coolers.2011 M8 930 Terra Alps BB,162"
Thanks

It works great. Cut it and throw it in. Bought mine cut from RacinStation. U should gear down the regardless of the 3". Mine didn't change my rrrrrrr's. A little harder to lean over because of weight though.

Put a 3" in my 900 Bikeman M8, it was a 16 wide cut down by tracks Canada to 15. I drilled the lower hole in the tunnel for the front arm mount and relocated the rear in the lower position and voila! Traction out the yang yang! You won't need to regear, just enjoy!

Definitely do it. One of the best mods I did to my m1 when I had it. I kept the track to put on my proclimb. No need to change anything. Get the 16 and cut it down, throw it in and go ride. I have over 3000 miles on my cut down 3" and not one issue.
