AC uses Yamaha engines.

Sniff more glue.. Up to and including 2013 the last many years the motors in arctic cat sleds have been SUZUKI. as for 2014 i do beleive we will see yamaha motors in the cats. But prior they had a contract with SUZUKI.

The only engine Yamaha is supplying Arctic Cat is the 3-cylinder 1049cc 4-stroke engine. Yamaha is not getting any 2-stroke engines from Arctic Cat. The chassis, engine and calibration are essentially the same, although the styling cues, color, graphics, wind protection, headlight and fairing designs are different. Still waiting on these Vipers to show up at our shop, should be any day now!
