How many km on etec, broke in??? I know they have a break in period, does the polaris have a break in period as well. (I am a skidoo rider wanting a polaris), so want a fair comparison.

yes polaris has a 3 hour break in period on the ecu.

I ran a jaws can on my 06 RT1000x for 5 seasons. It needed re-packing after 5000k.

Ya you ran jaws on any other sleds previous?

No I haven't. Have ran the rumble pack. wasn't 100% on the tone of it. Have ran MBRP on all my other sled as well as the pro rmk I demo'd. Not a huge fan of it on the pro rmk. Have heard jaws and liked it alot better. So gonna try it next year.

Wondering who has tried out the SLP pipe set and PCV?

Is there really a noticable performance gain?

How does it run? Any bogging?

Just from what I have heard. The pipe does not sound as loud as previous 800's. The sled seems to pull better and make a noticeable difference. The sled bogs until the pipe gets really hot. again this is what i have heard. no first hand experience and i do not know if its true or not.

hahaha, so get beat up for a chitty review on SW and now come here???

Funny, everytime you talk to a doo fan the numbers keep going up and up and up, but yet to see a stock head to head dyno of the two same day same conditions. But since all you are worried about is the dyno numbers, I guess you won't care how impressive they ahve been on the snow already....

FYI, we have both a PRO and an etec sitting in our garage. BONE stock. after break-in, I will let report exactly where each is better.

Well what was the outcome?

I have a red Pro 163 and have a 162 x 3" C.E track coming for it cut down to 15 wide, Avid extended chaincase , 8 tooth Avid drivers, and if the engine holds together for a few trips, possibly a turbo kit.;)

Do you know if you can get that track 16 wide and where from?

Check out the SLP website they have put together what they're calling a Stage III kit for the 2011 Pro 800 motors. Claiming 14hp and 7ft.lb increase. Maybe an option for the person who just wants to do some bolt ons. Should be compatible with the 2012 once the mapping is configured.

Terra Alps billit head with no controller, add torque and arm pulling power, once you add a pipe then its best to add a fuel controller.
