well there you go,mine had just over 2000km and thats what i was told the reason for the short block was...thanks


Yeah they just announced it late yesterday afternoon. Still don't understand why they changed out the whole motor if the pistons needed to be replaced.:confused:

apparently the failure rate has been very low and isolated and all failures happened after the 2k mark... sounds like BRP are taking a proactive approach and replacing pistons on all affected sleds.......there just arnt enough pistons at the moment to go around....guess i got another thousand kms to go, we will see.......
