Hello all, I'm looking at picking up a summit 670X for the wife, those of you who have these machines do you like, I'm told the 670 is bombproof with enough get up and go.....any opinions?

My bother had a 99 670x and it went like snot. Very strong motor, very reliable. I kinda wish he still had it.

No such thing as a 2000 670x ..... If it has a blue hood it is a '98 670x summit, if it has a yellow hood it is a '99 670x summit..... Lots of power on the old 670x. They tend to trench in deep snow.

I discovered the non-existance of a 2000 summit 670X after I posted this trying to find online reviews, so I'm trying to find out if it is a 1999 there is no pic. so I don't know the color I'll have to call and ask....I've heard good things thanks for the confirmations.

Cheers:beer:

Thanks all....The one adveratised as a 2000 is quite a bit out of town and I haven't been able to get in touch with the guy I'm thinking it's probably a 99 purchased in 2000....I have however found 1999 summit 670 X which I am going to pick up tomorrow...by all accounts it's a hell of a deal on a great sled.....I'll be warming it up for the wife tommorow afternoon...and then have my new track and springs installed on mine by friday....I've never been so excited to go sledding...I've always prefered the quad....but we'll see how she goes this weekend.

thanks again :d
