20 tooth top gear

What are all the benefits of this 20 tooth top gear? Just gears yu down a bit and in turn lowers your belt temps?

Best explaination is that yes, it just gears you down a bit.
Basically, its to increase your hill climbing ability, lower your belt temp, lower track wear etc. It'll give you a bit more torque.

just installed the 20 tooth on my 13' HCR 800 , along with a " X3 " challenger track in 162" , pulls like a tractor and gets up and floats now, best " cheap " mod , oh and pitched the suit case silencer for an HPS .

your stock 13 wide chain might have a bit better chance of surviving a with lower gear ratio
