My thoughts to! Small boosted motors don’t have the best track record

This is what I’m curious about, pushing 360/400 or whatever it is out of a small 6 has got to be hard on internals

That being said I have read about quite a few 3.5 ecos being run hard and are at half a mill kms with no major issues...

Yeh , their is a huge difference between using a engine in vehicles for daily drivers or even drag racing .
Boats kill motors as under load all the time .
Seen a lot of very smart engine builders get a lesson when building for jet boat applications.

Yah a pump is loading that motor constantly. It’s like towing a trailer all the time.
