I have tracked it down I do believe after a final lookover of the sled with a service manual in hand all sensors, coils and such are good, fuel regulator is good! Two issues: injectors resistance is triple what spec is and (on the note of timing) the TDC mark is definitely off timing with the cylinders, manual wasn’t clear on whether it’s mag or pto side that TDC is taken off but trying to line up either of them it’s about 30 degrees retarded or 30 advanced so grabbing a puller and removing the flywheel tomorrow and expect to see a lovely sheared key

That’s what I expect you’ll find. I was speaking from experience. Had my sled flood on me while it was parked. Tried to start it and it did the exact same thing. Ripped the rope out of my hand took me a little to figure it out.

Any thoughts on the injectors? I got resistance reading of 11 and spec is around 3

Honestly, if they work I wouldn’t worry about the injectors.

If you do find that the flywheel has spun, Unplug the fuel pump and the injectors. Ensure all the fuel is out of the crank case. And then try to get the sled to run without backfiring.

Once it’ll run on fuel you dump in the cylinders without backfiring, then plug the pump snd injectors back in. And take a screw driver snd knock on the steel part of the injector body. See if it will run self sufficiently, if it can and doesn’t flood itself out then I wouldn’t worry about the resistance difference.

Alright ill focus on the flywheel for now, I’ll update when I have it back together and timed and hopefully running ����

Popped the flywheel, sure enough key was shear right the heck off haha
Threw in a new one a major toll on the bank account of 0.35 cents :rolleyes:
Reassembled and she fired up on the 3rd pull ;)
Ran her a bit and she goes like a hot damn again!
