Hey, I am doing a full rebuild of my RMK. I was wondering if any of you know the torque specs for some of the various components. I know the head is 23 ft/lbs, but what about the jug bolts. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks

torque specs are for the following bolts on a 02 Polaris 800 VES Twin
Cylinder head 18-22 ft.lbs.
Cylinder base nuts 30-34 ft.lbs.
Crankcase 8mm bolt 20-24 ft.lbs.
Crankcase 10mm bolt 26-30 ft.lbs.
Flywheel 90 ft.lbs.

Hey, thanks a lot. Is there any secret to getting the two halves of the crankcase to seal well. Or is it pretty much just slap er together and torque it up?

Recommend you order the Polaris deep snow manual for this machine. I have one and it has everything you can imagine in it. Well worth the cash to have.
