800 etec with 7000kms had it checked over and found .014 crank runout. Still have 140 compression. Should I run it for another season?

I happen too have a 800 etec engine for sale with approx 1200 k and 132 psi per side if things don’t work out

That's a lot. Personally it would be in the back of my mind every time I was over a ridge or down a drainage where the only way out is back up.

Be lot cheaper to fix it now before the big ski-boom . That said one of my etec is just under 10k and never been opened up. Never had a 2 stroke go that long before . Im going to run it till it blows

0.014"?

I believe the Etec spec is 0.0024" max. You're 5.5 times higher than the max spec.

Spend the money and fix it now, it's going to cost you either way this season, but doing it now saves; other parts, a ruined trip, and probably a helicopter ride.

Costs way more to repair!

Had one at .012”.
Would wear a clutch out in a matter of days.
Didn’t seem to vibrate any more than I thought normal.

Gunna change it out, I blew 2 belts last year and thats the only 2 I blew. I thought it was clutch worn out. Definitely makes sense why there's clutch noise.

definitely change it out, went through it myself last couple seasons ago, engine ran fine and pulled hard but put a dial indicator on for a preseason check and found .022-23 runout... clutch wobbled like an 850
