On my 800 etec i used an aftermarket thermostat to prevent the power fade that happened when you did long wot pulls. Does the 850 have the same problem?

So I'm coming off a 2015 summit x 154 and going to a summit x 175. I never packed fuel and usually rode 60-70 km in mountains a day. I'm hoping to get away with not packing fuel on the new sled but just curious about how people made out on the 850?
