    Bringing the pooch

May have forgot to mention, My pooch is kinda small, ****-sue. yes, I know, real manly. He sits nicely on the seat of the toolbox/seat, but i'm thinking a good bounce over a log, and he would become a flying fluffy projectile.

    Bringing the pooch

I have a little one who cries every time I ride my quad with out bringing him along. In fact, if its running, he had better be on it. I have a rear seat/toolbox, where he sits. Around the yard is all good, but I don't think he can hang on too well on the trails. He has no hands. Does anyone...

Feb 15, 2016 - Alberta Beach Family Day Rally

Yes, they were checking ins/Reg in the trees where you couldn't go around them. I went there not planning to finish in an hour, so I wasn't worried. just wish there was a hot dog to be had. :)

Feb 15, 2016 - Alberta Beach Family Day Rally

First and foremost, it was a great time! Thanks for a fun day. We were in a group of 4 riders. I ran a 2wd old machine, with sheet metal screws and only had trouble on one hill due to ruts, and dragging the sprocket guard. But I wasn't holding anyone up. The RC's were the bottleneck. 3/4 check...

    Re-torque of rims....

That should read "back off to the lowest setting when finished" this will maintain the minimum spring tension. If you back it of and leave it with no tension, the wrench loses calibration faster (for lack of fancy term). This is from my buddy who calibrates wrenches and gauges.

    Enclosed Trailer Project

you could try Gater Guard from Napa, I used it in my little truck box trailer I built, worked good, but it took 2 cans to do a long bux under the rails. it is durable. for the checker plate, is there a metal supermakets around there

    Max Width

grab one of those "farmers get out of jail free" slow moving triangles...they are awsome:) I'd just over hang more on the passenger side like was said. My car trailer is 2" too wide, and has been for 10 years, been stopped for many things, but no one has measured the trailer. As a curtesy...

    Hauling fuel

100L of fuel in one can would be nice. How much? where'd you get it? I may have solved my problem. My 1 ton crew cab has the spot at the back for a spare tire, but mine won't fit, they are too tall, and won't fit between the frame rails. So I am going to install a 40 gallon tank for a...

    Itp mud lights

I run mudlites on my 92 Warrior, and they pull good through the mud and the snow. they rude nice on the hard packed trail as well. A buddy runs bearclaws on his, and no trouble either. just wish the chain and disc didn't hang so low. I have seen guys running paddles on the trails in Nordegg, and...

    Quadding in Whitecourt.

How was the trip? I am planning on heading that way with a pack of friends for August 25-29 for an extended weekend before the long weekend :) Are the trails good for all riders? My son will be on his bike too, and it will be his first time off the farm. If you could, let me know where you...

    Hauling fuel

higer'n, thanks but I cant quite read it. I will try later at home. We normally have 2 cans in the truck, and 3-5 strapped to the trailer... never had an issue with 5-0, but sure would prefer to hide the fuel from those who don't like to pay for it. often thought of having one full of water or...

    Hauling fuel

and how or where would this Z240 Rv code book be located? Doesn'm make sense to have a fuel tank that can't be filled untill you get to where you need the fuel?? If you have the book, can you scan it?

    Bike rack for sled deck?

I just tie the bike down using quick straps to my home built deck, just like you would a dirt bike. one strap from the back of the deck to the seat or rear end of the bike (insert technical term here) to keep the back tire from hopping around.

    2006 kodiak 450 shocks

I thought I saw something about shocks on a kodiak on here :) I put a 1-1/2" lift on my 07 Kodiak 450, and cranked up the setting on the rear to the highest for the rear, 1 shy on the fronts, and I still hit the rear skid plat too often, so I was looking for maybe longer, or stiffer rear...

    Hauling fuel

When in Cadomin, we stayed beside a group that had a fuel tank with a transfer pump as part of the 5th wheel. So that got me to thinking. is there any legal reason why I couldn't take an old Suburban fuel tank (120Lish) and mount it under the deck of my car trailer? Add an electric fuel pump...

    Tires

I don't have a diesel, and doubt I ever will, but talking to some friends in the states, who run their Dually Dodge 4x4 Diesel loaded with a gooseneck and a backhoe or bails or steel, they put 10 lug adapters and run 22" heavy Highway truck (same as an international). they were replacing the...

    07 wolverine/Grizzly 350 Rear axle seal

Just did a servie on a 99 Wolverine, the diff was dull of water...a couple drops of oil too. The diff itself, (aluminum part shown in pic) is a sealed unit itself. If the oil level is up, and not milky, you are good to go. If the oil is brown and like a malt, its got water in it. The unit is...

Dirt Biking and Quading near Sherwood Park

Closest to SH PK is Bruderheim or Redwater. I like RW the best, when heading north into RW you will come to a stop sign, the main road through town, turn right (away from town, and go straight east for a few miles and it will be on your right.
