    Looking for reed advice...

I have a 2010 m8 all stock except a speedwerx can. It's at around 3000kms and I'm thinking of changing the reeds out. Any advice on what works best in this sled with no other mods? Vforce, boyesen, or to just stick with stock arctic cat reeds? I'm looking for better throttle response and seems...

Where to stay and eat in revy?

As for where to stay....for the trips we have an enclosed sled trailer and Revy is insanely busy, parking can be a primary deciding factor as to where we try and pick first. Days inn has decent parking for a trailer. Gateway has a little parking lot. Super 8 is good as long as the skiers in...

    Rinky-dink diamond drive screws

I was also told to use a thread repair kit (like a heli-coil kit) as there's not a lot of aluminum meat to be drilling out and re-tapping. Its one of the screws that's on the bottom of case cover kind of between and kitty corner to the drain and fill plugs. Drilling and tapping sounds much...

    Rinky-dink diamond drive screws

So I pulled apart the diamond drive on my '10 M8 to inspect all the bearings and gear teeth. Upon putting it back together, I stripped one of the threaded holes for the torx screw for the case cover. Any suggestions on how to repair this?? Thanks

Not impressed with my new 509 goggles!

I love my 509 helmet & sinister goggles. Had them for just over a year. Face stays warm & snow stays out of face decently as well thanks to how they fit well together. A day of hard riding, or lots of ski tugging & digging, they fog up a bit in the corners, or if my hair gets wet from snow or rain.

Wierd problem on my 2012 Pro RMK.

Had same issue on '11 assault. Start of day same symptoms. Halfway thru the day, started dying once rpms dropped too low. Had bitch of a time starting it. Smoked terribly, and bogging bad. We changed plugs out throughout day and would immediately foul them. Max rpm we could get was 6500. Burnt...

    pissed at some people

We rode at Frisby last week. When we arrived at the cabin there was a kind older gentleman that had just finished sweeping and cleaning up the cabin. Told us he was so disgusted in the way people are treating it. He said just before we arrived a group had come thru and they left the cabin, they...

Unexpected hazards.. I need some help

Riding along, come to what looks like a ledge and you're actually sitting ontop a cornus that could break off at any moment. Also, guys that just rip on the groomed trails with no consideration of meeting other sledders on blind corners. Head on's can cause serious damage to sled and or rider...

My buddy needs a sled...And advice

Is borrowing (if he's respectful & dilligent enough) or renting different sleds an option to see what things he may like from sled to sled? That way it could get him testing out what he likes, getting some ride time in thru different snow conditions, and he can then shop around come spring or...

    Limestone / Caroline area

Rode west of Rocky today north up the Sunchild road just past the conoco plant....barely enough to ride, but no base whatsoever. Don't recommend that area until old man winter delivers more snow! Family friends were quadd'n by Jackfish Lake, so if you're a quadder that may be the current toy of...

    Limestone / Caroline area

Seems Rocky area has some of the least amount of snow around until you head north towards Drayton area. Even out west towards Jackfish is lacking, unfortunately. Not sure how Caroline / Sundre area is tho...

    2011 800 fouling plugs

I had what sounds like a similar issue on a 2011 Assault as well. Ran fine one trip, next trip ran ill right from unloading off truck. We thought at 1st it was just because it was cold but got progressively worse as the day went on. It wouldn't idle, which in return also wouldn't go into...

Is there any riding left in the pass or fernie?

A group of us just rode a few places in Revy the 19 & 20. After riding in a ways we found 8-12 inches of new stuff. The 20th it was snowing lightly up top still. A group we talked to said there was about a foot of fresh on top Boulder on the 20th, but shutes were sliding badly!
