I have been surfing the web for quite a while now and am looking for some input as to who everyone is using for their parts/accessory supplier. In my particular case I cannot find anyone who will supply the 'Higher End' mud tires at a reasonable rate. Everything is in the US (which is...
They are an 8-Ply Radial with an extremely reasonable weight. I do run the 30" version on my maverick. In comparison to the 32" Silverbacks I used to run or even the 30" 'backs on my Renegade, they are way lighter!
7 years later and this thread is brought back to life! Just wondering if anyone has been on this trail lately. I think I know the answer but...Is it in any condition for a sxs to make the trek?
I am not 100% sure, but on my 2011 850XP, I was able to switch the stock 26" Carlisle tires and add 30" Zillas on the stock wheel and has no issues. Take it for what it's worth...
I found that the 2015 Forest River Vengeance 377v that I purchased this year is terrific! it's not overly heavy, 3 slides and a 12' garage. 2 bathrooms and a bunch of other pretty cool things...Check it out. Price point is there as well.
Rule of thumb maybe...I have a 2014 Maverick XMR with 32" Silverbacks. It just fits on my ATV trailer which is 8'6". Keep in mind that my tires hang over the front and back of the deck...Hope this helps!
Just remember that you will also need to purchase the mount as well. It comes in 1.5" and 2" sizes. I think it's an additional $100.00 over the $249.00.
That's a rough day too. Like someone mentioned before...It's brutal now, but when you are up and running again you have an unreal camp-fire story that doesn't get old!
Thanks bud! Just a quick update...I had no water get into the engine or airbox. I dropped all of the oils including the diffs...Everything was clear! There was about 1500 pounds of sand in every crevasse of the machine though. Took forever to clean out. Mostly cosmetic issues and that's it!
Re: Barried Maverick - Bruderheim - April 19, 2015
Chalk it up to going off of my memory. I've been riding there for years and have gone on this trail 30 times. I have never once sunk like that in that area before. It literally sucked me in. I was crawling along and it still grabbed me. Oh...
Re: Barried Maverick - Bruderheim - April 19, 2015
There was damage. Blew the bead on drivers side front, tore the front bumper off and I think damaged the winch bracket. Broke the winch line, glazed the belt, and who know what water damage there is. I think we were able to get it out...
Needless to say I had a brutal day today riding in Bruderheim. I had no idea how badly these trails have been abused. I found out first hand of what larger OHV's can do to a trail.
On the upside I had a bunch of terrific people try to help me out today, and I just wanted to say thank you in...
A good friend has one and seems to be a fairly solid machine. He rides it hard and not many issues. The only thing that concerns me would be the motor mounts. His machine needs them replaced and I noticed that this was a common theme everywhere else.
