Good calls on the Yamahas. I did not think of them as I assumed as with sleds it was all four stroke. I will go to the dealer in town and check out prices forsure. Very impressed with what I have seen in the past so they should be a great engine.
Looking at a 150 horse motor for my 18 ft Skeeter Fish and Ski. Looking for opinions on which is better the Evinrude E-tec or the Merc Optimax. Seems like the Merc would be 2- 3K cheaper.
The high strength solvents can be an issue then if I anodize the engine mount. Just have to make sure the AME does not spray the entire engine on annual inspection.
The grooming done from the begining of the season is what helps keep the trail long after it starts to melt. Think of it as paying for past work done that is helping you ride the snow that is packed there instead of just straight mud.

Havent been up in a while and will be heading to Renshaw in a week or so. Whats the trail pass pricing this year? Im guessing with all the snow, unloading is at the regular staging areas, or is there a possibility of that changing quickly?

A buddy fit one to his wing strut on his Husky Aviat airplane. He does lots of winter flying on skis. You can see it get pellted hard with snow and ice on take off and it never skips a beat. Great footage from them. Definately built strong.

I got the same sled. First off let me say that I have ATTAC on my sled. It is the best thing in the world. It runs hard and crisp from here to Revelstoke and from +10 to -25. Ok now for the jets. I believe I put in 420's as It says to jet for your base altitude and -20.
