Yes, 800. Battery is good. This is the second starter (OEM) and it has been on for over a year.
Checked what grounds we could see, may have to take the exhaust pipe off to find some more. We have the wiring diagram and we thought we checked all grounds.
Will double check.
I was starting to...
07 Summit, when the starter button is pushed the starter engages and spins the engine, engine turns over but no fire. Then, pull the rope, one pull, loud back fire and starts right up. Next time you shut it down and restart with the e-start it works as it should.
Does anyone have thoughts on...
No rides scheduled for this year. I think the cleanup from the flood will take a lot of time. Still working towards getting a groomer out there but that won't happen this year. The club is doing great worh to get this happening.
It will be even better once you get here.
Good info on that other thread. People are working really hard to make sure that area doesn't get taken away. Remember, this area is closed to snowmobiles untill Dec.1. I know the itch is there, but please stay out untill Dec.1, we don't want to lose this area just because a few of us couldn't wait.
Wheels, families are always welcome, last club ride there were three or four families with us. Kaz Dog is going to talk to our destination coordinator tonight to get some info on the areas we will be riding and accomadation. He will likely post the info here but you can go to the Calgary...
Hope to see you at the meeting. Sounds like you have some good ideas. Bring them forward, this is what this new blood needs, create some buzz about the area so we will be heard.
Hopefully we can make this happen for our community.
It's not that we want the government to do it for us like they have in the past. We want government to recognize that responcible snowmobilers want to be the ones that look after the area in the winter time. That is what this upcoming meeting is for, to get a plan in place to take forward. Like...
Does anyone know of a good engine shop in Calgary? Siezed up the 09 800R on Christmas Eve. Still new to the city and need to find someone reputable. Any suggestions would sure help.
Also, maybe someone who does mods, might be time for a big bore kit or something.
I seem to always see guys on here bashing the 07 REV for engine failures.
My question is, what is the highest mileage 07 you have seen that has not been rebuilt?
Mine has 6283km (3927miles) and still runs right beside my 09. I don't get why so many failed. Was it rider abuse or what?
I have...
Thanks for the info guys, I would never thought about the frt shock as being part of this issue. I have heard about the heavier torsion springs. I am taking it out tomorrow and will try different set-ups before changing anything.
Just picked up a 09 163 X and the rear suspension seems off to me. It seems to compress way to easy and takes a long time to return. I have bumped up the springs to MAX and it still doesn't seem right. I am comparing it to my 07 151. This weekend will be the first ride on it so I will see how it...
Oh, that helps loads, jerk, LOL. We already had some snow and it got me missing the bus. The bus didn't make it out this year so make sure you call Keith and get him out a few times this year. Got to find some guys down here to ride with or it will be a crappy winter.
Have fun up there tis year.
