I seem to always see guys on here bashing the 07 REV for engine failures.
My question is, what is the highest mileage 07 you have seen that has not been rebuilt?
Mine has 6283km (3927miles) and still runs right beside my 09. I don't get why so many failed. Was it rider abuse or what?
I have used synthetic since 200miles and all but one week of flat land riding (1000km) of those have been in the mountians, so I don't get it.

Some of the engines from Rotax had cases that were not machined to spec for crank bearing clearance. Some were all right. Sounds like you got a good engine.

Snopro has it right, some were good some were bad. I know of some that went into the mid 7000 kms. Mine went down at 4800 of 100% to the bar mountain bashing kms. and thats dam good for for a Rotax.
