2 years ago I had mine lifted out of Alan Creek by yellowhead and it was around $1100.

The only time it happened was coming down at the end of the day on a frozen trail where the scratchers weren't able to throw up enough snow. 2 of our machines were over heating, just wondering if there's anything to help keep em cool.

I'm hoping to avoid the overheating problem as much as possible on my 2015 this year. Obviously scratchers are the biggest help but I was wondering if any of the vent kits make a noticeable difference?

My 2008 PTek lasted about 2700k before the bearing on the crank went and took out most of the motor with it. I went with a new short block. 150km later the secondary clutch tore itself to pieces.....was an expensive year!

I have an 08 summit that has developed a loud rattle in the primary clutch. It only rattles at an idle, as soon as i give it some gas the noise goes away and pulls hard! I'm making the trip up to Valemount in a couple weeks and I can't decide if I should take it in to Martin to have it looked at...

I have a 2008 Summit x that has developed a pretty good rattle when the machine is idling. As soon as it gets above 2000RPM the noise goes away....I'm making my first trip to the mountains in March and I can't decide if I need to take it in to be looked at....any opinions??

I have an '08 summit with about 3000km that just seized up on me two weeks ago. After tearing it apart with my Dad/mechanic I found that one of the inside crank bearings was destroyed. It took the rest of the motor with it (one of the connecting rods were discolored, the piston had melted chunks...

So I just purchased a sled (my first one) and I've got to say its the best toy I have ever had. It's a 2008 Summit 800x. I'm from Edmonton and can't wait for the snow to fly. Where do you guys around Edmonton go riding???
