I have a 2008 Summit x that has developed a pretty good rattle when the machine is idling. As soon as it gets above 2000RPM the noise goes away....I'm making my first trip to the mountains in March and I can't decide if I need to take it in to be looked at....any opinions??

Get your TRA checked. Could be a spring cover bushing or sliding half bushing. Fairly common on that model.

You can also test this when the sled is cold crab the face of the primary and if there is any play back and forth the bushing is shot.
