i noticed condensation in the gauge..so took it off and dried it in the house overnight ...the rubber for the button was split on the underside and the hole had filled with ice! re-fitted the gauge in the morning and after 2 starts it all settled back to normal....but i still have condensation...

hi, i have a 2007 800r summit, its been running great...but yesterday when i started it ,it reads SCALE on the rev counter and 3 lights are on/ transmission,temp and electric i think. in the service manual it says stop the engine..press the button to free up the switch and restart....tried it...

thanks for the replies, over here 95 is the normal pump fuel, all the others are labelled "sport" , "racing" , just kind of worried because of the known problems with the 07 engine, i will do some investigation on the refinery website... lukoil a russian company.

i have just got a new to me 07 800 rev summit standard/no upgrades where i live the choices of fuel are 95 ,98,99 and 100 octane? i ride between 1000m-3000m. which is the best /most reliable fuel to use...95 is available in my village i have to drive 10km to get the other fuel, i only put 98+ in...

i am thinking the same.... my 2000 rmk engine has just died ....was thinking of swapping the rear track skid etc into a 2003 edge 500 .....its short track just cant get me about untill the trail is packed.. its the ultra lite 136 ,2 inch lugs.

yep its the pto big end bearing gone! is this fixable or is it new engine time? can anyone recommend a company that sells either warrentied or servicable engines? kind of resigned to the fact i will not ride it again this season, so i have time to make sure the fix lasts me at least 2 more...
