    Best rib recipes?

Well, here's the spot to ask. We've got a rib cook off coming up and haven't really considered a new recipe. We have access to a good BBQ but not a smoker. Any ideas on making killer ribs? Either a dry rub or saucy mega rib, just the most killer ribs ever. Thanks in advance eh!

Some ideas are good. Others, not so much.

Well. Bought myself a 1977 superglide yesterday. Pretty stoked on this one. Needs a bit of stuff and things but hey, totally worth it.

These are comedy gold. There is some language in there, so if you aren't supposed to look, don't. E-mails from an a-hole

    Well. It happened.

It happened. Lost a lifter roller the other day. Bearings are unaccounted for. Guessing bottom end. Knew they were due, just hoped they would hold until the winter. Ah well. Here's the beginning of tear down.

    Tires

Just wondering what people are paying for tires? I just got a new dunlop put on the front of my bike and am wondering if I could have gotten a better deal had I have gone for a ride elsewhere. Paid 375$ for a D401 19" with a tube and rim strip, installed.

    Miis, miss grind crunch

Huckin Farley. Looks like the steed has been having some issues. I went for a rip up the hill to the gas station, heard some crunching like a loose part floating around. Opened up the primary and didn't see anything loose or out of place, got everything buttoned up and fired it up, damn thing...

    Cheap Mexico trips

Does anyone have any hints on the cheapest way to get into an all inclusive gig in Mexico? My lady and I have stumbled into some time off in may and are looking at soaking in some sun. It seems like lots of folks here head down there, how do you find your deals? Thanks eh!

    Another avalanche special bulletin

http://www.avalanche.ca/uploads/SPAW/Special Warning March 9 2012.pdf Another one for the upcoming weekend. Read through, stuff that seems safe, may let go with huge reprocussions. It's 12 degrees in Cranbrook today. Really warm, with not much cloud cover. Play safe out there folks! -edit-...

    Conservatives new crime bill

So, I know the consensus around here is that we should be hacking off limbs for theft and such, well, how do you feel about this crime bill? It sure is nice of the Feds to pass on these costs to each province don't you think? Miniumum sentances have failed down south, why are we doing it here...

    Buying a street bike?

So I have recently gotten my mitts on a dirtbike, and after having as much fun as it is, I have decided I need a street bike. Went and did my learner's written test, and now I'm looking for a bike. I have rode lots of dirtbike before, when I was a younger dude, but just this summer aquired the...

What size/type of dirtbike to buy?

So I am in the market for a dirtbike. Having some issues with deciding exactly which way to go here. Intend to ride lots of trails, but as time goes on, will be pretty likely jumping the thing. There are no tracks around here, but the idea of racing does peak my interest. This has caused the...

    E Module fix?

Sled in question is an 08 summit, with the 800R. So while doing some things to my machine last night, I noticed that the E module is cracked in front of the primary. It's obviously not enough to make a huge issue, but it's something I want to get done this summer. I'm not adverse to wrenching...

    Avalanche Beacon Batteries

Just wondering when you guys change batteries. I have been lead to believe that the flux lines get weaker as the batteries wear. I change mine out at 75-80% generally. Cheap piece of mind really... So, what about you?

    Canadian Avalanche Centre

I was just reading the avy report for the south rockies when I noticed something I hadn't seen too much before. "Travel Advice: -Watch for obvious signs of instability, such as recent avalanche activity, whumpfs, and shooting cracks under your skis or sled. If you see any of these signs, it...

    Mounting a sled deck

So here is the deal. I bought an 03 Superduty this spring and intend to load my sled deck into it. It is a homebuilt job, uses ratchet straps to get it tied in. I'm not super into using the 4 tie down cleats in the corners of the bed, for a few reasons. Firstly, I question their strength...
