That was my second time in the mountains. I still am a bit fuzzy about how to get there but I am sure if you went to one of the local sledding stores they would point you in the right direction. Baldy Mountain is down highway 97 South. Then you turn left on the stone creek fsr? i think. Good...
We followed someone we knew there but its down the buckhorn where the road splits at the ranch you go right. Not sure how far it is from there but there was alot of nice snow.
Went sledding just south of PG last saturday. No snow at 1000 meters but after that......
And my favourite
Once at the top Dad sunk up to his chest in snow (around 5 feet) he was at the tops of smallish trees. It was sunny all day for us but PG was extremly cloudy.
Well we have 4.5 feet of snow but from now until the end of January the temperature is going to stay above 0:mad: I thought people hated the central interior of BC because of the cold winters. Now we are have winter like Vancouver:realmad:
Even know it is expensive the way we look at it is its cheaper for a day to run our 3 sleds than it is to go the the movies (unless something breaks). Also it alot more fun to.
every time something goes wrong with your sled it is automaticly 1000$. Every time something happens bad I just think oh another grand gone on snowmobiles.
Dont mind me we had a bad year last year with sleds breaking down. Havent rode enough this year to block it out, but we are riding tommorow
Too bad about that woman dying I truly feel for the family, but I read a few of the comments and had to stop. Some people are actually ridiculous. They should wrap themselves into a plastic bubble and leave us alone.
we got the metal sliding piece 17 dollars for it could have home made 200 for that price. Thank you for your help Badss. We have to wait for another 17 dollar piece of metal.
We have a 1998 Arctic Cat Powder Special that we lent to someone and he crashed it into a tree.He bought a hood and gave it to us no stickers or nothing. Then he moved to Alberta. There was a hole in the hood so we got the new one and have it all set up and are trying to put it onto the sled...
The orange one is my dads 2004 900 king cat limited edition 161" the middle one is my 2002 800 mountain cat 144" and the black and purple is my little brothers 1998 600 powder special which also was modified by Neid or Reid raceing in terrace so its stays caught up with my 800 just about
Didnt know that deer hadnt opened yet. Here in BC deer opens sept 1-9 for bows only then sept 10-nov 30 for general open season with nov 21-30 being 4 point season only
