Hunting Season

How has everyones hunting season gone so far. I havent gone out yet so I was wondering if anyone else got anything.

good. got me about 20 coyotes already or more. Deer/rifle dont open till the 16th here.

I working in shaunavon sask and there are lots of hunters down here. Not sure what the deal was yesterday but there sure is a lot of racks and legs sticking out of trucks.

It was opening day down there yesterday. Ours dont open for a few more days.

Have my moose already Cut up in the freezer,smookies,sausage and pepperoni and roasts and burger.

Leave on Sat. for a week.

Hubby and his buddies already have 3 moose, end of Sept. for them. Boy those steaks sure are tasty on the Bar-B-Que.

Didnt know that deer hadnt opened yet. Here in BC deer opens sept 1-9 for bows only then sept 10-nov 30 for general open season with nov 21-30 being 4 point season only

Nice! we get to go moose hunting Dec 1-7 got us a limited entry

My uncle and I both arrowed our moose a few weeks back. Everthing in the freezer, not big just average size. Together they weighed about 750#. Can't seem to find time to harass the white tails, maybe this weekend.

Can't speak for this year, but I got a deer last year with my van!!!

Ya our open season open then. It kinda sucks but what can you do. I might actually get to go on opening day. Last year i only made it out for 2 days at the end and i didnt see a thing. O well, this year i will get something.

Nice little Muley buck for me and the wife.

up here ,my buddies and i have got 5 elk and nothing smaller than a 5x5 so far,biggest being a 6x7. 2 bullmoose ,3 more tags for them and 2 cow elk tags to fill.then the deer and beer can start lol

One more sleep and we are out....Mattmedic, myself and our 13 yr old son have 2 muley buck draws and 9 muley does between us!!! MMMMM can you say Pepperoni and smokies......oh beer too!!

Next is the whitetail buck.

Crazy thing I saw yesterday was a rabbit running slow half covered in blood and a big martin chasing it.
When the rabbit kill was over then a large owl moved in to steal it.
I never saw who kept the rabbit the martin or the owl.

Good thing owl never tried to get my moose

Nice Elk albertasummitx, was he north or south of the river. I have my elk draw next year, thinking of going NW of GP. Hope to use the bow early season.

Nothing for me so far, didn't get out with the bow for moose this year.
