I installed a stage 1 dynojet kit on my 2006 grizz. Stock exhaust and stock air filter, the clip is on the 4th notch from the top, i used the dj 150 jet for elevations under 3000 feet, the mixture screw is set at 2.5 turns. The bike is running great, idles perfect, has good snappy excelleration...
Replace it, split the diff and give a good cleaning. It will be full of metal fines.
mine popped out and had 5% of the damage yours has and my diff was full of metal fines. I replaced the seals on both sides while I was at it. I spread the clip slightly to hopefully prevent it from popping out...
i bought 27" mud bugs for my grizz and they are an excellent tire in mud and snow, this is the first winter pushing snow with them and they are amazing compared to my stock tires.
I've put on quite a few miles with the 4-450 weights, 4-660 wgts and it works great! You'll lose some top end but excellent gain on the bottom end. Same goes for the 700 grizz.

I put 27" mud bugs on my 660, I went from 105km to 95 km per hour and the bike was very lazy. I talked to my local dealer about a cluth kit , an employee had the same problem with his 700 grizz, 28" tires. That same day he was talking to a clutch supplier about his problem and they recommended...
I went to my yamaha dealer and asked them if I should try a clutch kit or a dynajet carb kit.. Their answer was to put a dynatek fs cdi in the bike too bring up the rpm's, has anyone tried this? They are about $225.00.
