i been using the true north adventure gear gloves. so far there are the best for staying dry. they are thin so not the warmest but i keep a pair off mitts for the ride down. they are worth a try and i would recomend them.

I had firestone bags on my last 4 trucks, after having them on the first truck it was hard to go without them. Just make sure you plum them in so you can fill each bag separately.
I would check the torque on the DET sensor, there pretty sensitive to how tight they are, if not tightened to spec they will go into det. I wouldn't think the year old gas would be the problem, race gas has a way longer shelf live than regular gas. I never had trouble with old race gas...but...
I am thinking about getting my old dodge sprayed with line x, the paint is all chipped and scratched up so figured line x would be the way to go and not have to worry any more about gravel rash etc. This is not my daily driver but more or less used for hauling the toys around and a farm truck...
i have a full 600 rmk power pack for sale. Includes SLP pipe and silencer. PAR head and a power camander 5. I did a carls cycle 660 with there case porting. so i wont be needing this stuff any more. let me know if your interested. if you have the cash do a 660 you will be very happy.

We did area 51 may 10th a few years back... it was brutal getting in but when we did it was totally worth it. It will be a full day for sure. good luck and post pics if you make it :d
I just installed bilstien5100's on my 06 this week, way better than stock, also noticed a broken leaf so got a new set of new springs in now to, its like driving a totally different truck. You won't be disappointed.
