2015 pro 860 kit issues help please

My buddy is having issues with his pro big bore.
when it starts it runs great. Sled will randomly shut
off. Reads code de7. he's running c12 50% 91oct 50%
any help would be awesome.

Is flashing De7 or DeT indicating Detention

Pretty sure its Det. If its on steady then its a hard code.

Found out the c12 is a year old that they bought
so we're going to increase fuel

I was running C12 in my Hm Turbo and The engine didn't like it. I now run straight avgas and it works fine.

what compression ratio is the head? Does it have stock clutching?

I would check the torque on the DET sensor, there pretty sensitive to how tight they are, if not tightened to spec they will go into det. I wouldn't think the year old gas would be the problem, race gas has a way longer shelf live than regular gas. I never had trouble with old race gas...but maybe i was just getting lucky. good luck :d

If the race gas wasn't stored properly it can go bad. Out of the sun, cooler the better and in a tightly sealed air tight container. If it doesn't go woosh any more when you open it look out.
