Mine had the same issue when starting out. A dead spot when I blipped the throttle. Pulled the power valves and walla! a small gap was noticed as they were not sealing all the way closed. . Replaced them now runs like a champ.

10-4 on the wrists....had bout enuf o that!

Thanks, you comments are greatly appreciated. My wife is 115 lbs, it takes her and a 40 lb backpack to get that M7 on edge with all her might.

What kind of weight do you have in the saddle? I'm 225 and like I said, this will be the wife's ride but my a$$ will be in the saddle a few times I'm sure.

agreed. and this was another concern I had with these sleds..... I have another friend that does the same as you. Adds oil into the tank as well!

Wife was coming off an '06 M7 and it has been a very good sled to own reliability-wise......hence my apprehensions. However she is 115 lbs and can barely budge that thing. Not to mention that if my sled craters I have a spare to lean back on, so I am glad to hear that because I weigh in at...

I am finally in a position to purchase a new sled for the wife. While I like the Polaris chassis for obvious handling reasons, I am hesitant to purchase due to increased risk of engine failure. I have witnessed 6 of these engines blow-up over the past 2 years; essentially every Polaris PRO RMK...

I still ride the ol' King Cat 900. I don't remove any dust shield ever. Just grease that speedo side bearing every time you go out and replace it once a season as well as the chain case side bearing.
