Journalism is supposed to be about passing on the facts in as unencumbered and neutral way as possible. Most of what is presented now is "entertainment" and editorial opinion which is why so much cross checking is needed. All the news channels do that and the local TV news is usually a bit better but hey - they have air waves to fill. Stormy Daniels 15 minutes of fame should have ended in...well...15 minutes. Kim K probably should have as well.

I can handle CBC news as you can avoid the really out there stories and focus on the news while taking it with a grain of salt but the radio holee phuck! it's just constant interviews with minority and special interest groups especially LGBT... and first nations. All sorts of liberal causes and anyone that calls in is such a bleeding heart it's a miracle they haven't died. Just trash.

now that brings my blood to a boiling point!!!! Was in Vernon yesterday to p/u something at greyhound. A bunch of younger, drug induced guys were at a kids play ground right by the depot playing on kids equipment and one guy laying flat out on the ground trying to stand up. LOSERS and we want to feed them more???? WTF!

TBH I couldnt care less what they vote for other than simply getting a job and become a productive citizen. I get there are those with mental illness etc etc but I call BS on the majority of them!

two weeks I got hit with my illness and had to take 6 morphine pills over the course of the day. The next day pain was gone and went to work as usual. I struggled for 2 days with a cloud over my head and concrete blocks on my feet. How on earth does anyone think we can get these people off the drugs and become productive if they continue to take drugs. I don't get it.

Maybe they would vote Democrat but I doubt they would either get registered to vote or if they could find their way to a polling station to cast their vote. I think if anyone is relying on those with drug habits to tip the scales in their favour they will be sorely disappointed
