I'd call the cops and tell them the story, also mention you thought they had a real firearm pointed at you. Given the hot button topic guns seem to be I'm sure they will enjoy their house being ripped apart by the cops after SWAT boots the door down.

No tell the cops it was a real gun that they pointed.cops might not do much if you say it was a paintball gun.or just take care of it yourself.thats always the best

I agree. Although shooting somebody with a paintball gun is some pretty serious chit, I don't think they would get much more than a slap on the wrist, if that. They are obviously chicken chit coward punks, I would try to find them and ruffle a few feathers. Actually, scratch that, I would beat the ever loving piss out of them. If their daddies try to get involved, beat the guts out of them too. They deserve it for screwing up raising their kids.

What makes you think their fathers are to blame for anything? Maybe the fathers in your life are, but what gives you any right to to say such a retarded thing?

Yup exactly what we need to do here is file false reports/complaints involving real firearms. With all the BS attention payed to firearms these days why would you even suggest it?

Where do people come up with these ideas?

Paintball guns are considered dangerous firearms under law. Report them.

Gotta jump in here: paintball guns are not considered firearms. The projectile must exceed 500 feet per second muzzle velocity, which paintball guns can not achieve.

These pricks should be reported, go after 'em.

Hey Piston Broke

You better do a bit more research on paint ball guns. my friends shoots over 1000ft per second and aiming a paintball gun a some one that does not want it pointed at them is a very serious offence.

I would believe PistonBroke is correct here and he should know. So your friends paintball gun shoots over 1000 fps, and you calculated this with what? Hand held chronographs only measure in 3 digits, bench ones sometimes have four digits but usually only at rifle ranges. Most are regulated to 300fps, sometimes they can achieve 340-350 with minimal changes, we tried hooking a 4500psi scuba tank to one and only was able to get to 440 fps, simply because they are not designed to do so. At 525 fps a paintball simply compresses too much and the shell can not withstand the pressure and breaks.

Its really crappy that some idiots go out and shoot up crap and at people with paintball guns. Its obviously a stupid move and if they pointed it at the wrong person they could end up having a real weapon pointed back at them. But it makes guys who want to go out and play paintball look all the same. The same way sledders are givin bad reps at times, these kids are giving guys with other hobbies like paintball a bad rep.

The only way I will believe your buddy has a paintball gun that can shoot a paintball at 1000 fps is video!

No problem amigo, here it right from A Practical Guide to Canada's Gun Laws for Americans I have done this research back when gun registry first reared it's ugly head, because all us paintball players were chitting bricks, thinking our sport was toast. I have been playing since the late 80's...

AIRGUNS

Airguns are:
o exempt from most of the requirements of the Firearms Act if "not designed or adapted to discharge a shot, bullet or other projectile at a muzzle velocity exceeding 152.4 meters per second (500 feet per second) and at a muzzle energy exceeding 5.7 Joules."
o subject to all the requirements of the Firearms Act if it exceeds the 152.4 meters/second muzzle velocity and 5.7 Joule muzzle energy limits. This means that the owner must possess a firearms license, registration certificate, and (if the airgun falls under the restricted or prohibited categories) an Authorization to Transport.

You are however, correct on the fact that pointing a paintball gun at someone is a serious offence.

What? should their fathers get an award for doing such a bang up job of raising their kids? It was meant as a joke, but this isn't - if I would have ever done something like this when I was a kid, I would have gotten it a lot worse from my father than the guy I shot at. Nowadays, that type of parental control is falling by the wayside. People are coddling their little babies so they don't get into trouble. We see it everyday in the schools, on the streets, everywhere. Little Johnny gets himself into trouble, but no worries, mommy and daddy will take care of it. The trouble with these guys that shot at the sledders is that they have no respect. Where do you think that lack of respect comes from? If you think the things I say are "retarded", too fugging bad. Maybe you ought to give your own head a shake.

X2 If there was some parental guidence, this probably would not have happened.
