Well folks, the time has come for us in Alberta to put in our draws.

What are you putting in for?

We used to do Elk River Road years back, but from the sounds of third party reports, it's likely crispy now

I was just out there at the Brazeau canyon lodge, no fires even close to there, that’s slightly south of the elk River road, right off the trunk road on the brazeau river

I can get my moose if I want but haven’t decided, might just priority everything and get moose next year.

I go on the north. That area has to many wild horses and no other animals. Pretty picked clean from the local rez.

Odds are pretty good that work is going to interfere with any chances of getting time off for hunting this year. Every third week off May not be enough time

Daughter is a priority 6 so should be cow elk (I'll have a general bull tag) for her and bull moose for friend.

Just general elk and archery moose for me, no draws this year but will be good for bull moose next year and maybe cow elk.

Should have results in a few weeks.
