Even though the NDP are responsible for the pipeline delay she will push it through just before election to shout "hey look what I have done for the people of Alberta".

I got this unsolicited text today. I thought it was illegal to do this ? I sure as hell didn’t give them my number.
My response;
#1 I don't support a single thing Rachel Notley and her Government have done. This Government refuses to listen to the people , especially with regards to land use issues in the Castle and Bighorn areas. The party should be renamed the
NO DEMOCRACY PARTY.
#2 How did you get my cell phone number ?
#3 Why do you think it is acceptable to contact me with unsolicited propaganda ?
This is exactly the high handed type of actions that make this party so out of touch with the common man.

Hmm, if they can send unsolicited propaganda to us then we can send unsolicited opinions to them. You were kind enough to leave the number for us, so I send them an unsolicited text: "I do not believe the Alberta NDP is fighting nearly hard enough for Alberta's pipeline jobs. It seems obvious to me that they are doing the exact opposite, hoping that the clock runs out before they can make any significant traction."

I do believe there is a Federal no contact law that forbids any entity from contacting citizens via cell/land line. You might want to check into it before bothering any more taxpayers with your NDP propaganda.

It's called "public Land" for a reason. What gives your government the right, to take away my rights ,to use the public lands?
Your government officials are too cowardly to even attend a meeting in regards to the Bighorn area. They have been invited time and time again to no avail. Ask them why they have refused the upcoming town hall meetings in Rocky?
The reason , they only listen to citizens who share their views. That is not Democracy.
Please ask your government to call an election so we can stop this idiocy.

I have written many letters, signed many petitions and attended rallies. That must be how she got my phone number. So the NDP is using my confidential personal information , without my consent. Another example of the despicable tactics and depths that this bunch of idiots will stoop too.

this countdown brings me some sense of hope. I still cant get over how people could have been so stupid to vote these idiots in power. People should never vote with their emotions and that why this country's governments are all ****ed up. I guess its easier to follow your emotions then spend the time to get educated.

Haha. Feeling disenfranchized CFM? If you listen to what he said, you might see he had an interesting perspective and an answer to etec's question about why people vote in huge change. Happened in Alberta which was why I thought it fits here. That moron as you call him has gained more political perspective and experience in his 93 years than most people on the planet. He even won a Nobel peace prize and continues to do great work with Habitat for Humanity.

Hardly. I did listen to what he said. He blamed the growing gap between rich and poor as the reason for the middle class being left out. It was policies from presidents like him that failed to check uncontrolled illegal immigration ( driving wages down), he raised taxes on business ( like all liberals), driving jobs out of the USA. That’s what started the decline of the middle class. He gat a nobel peace prize for brokering Mid East peace. He did that by forcing Israel to the table by withholding arms agreements at the same time as he increased military equipment sales to Egypt. Like Obama, he’s a feckless coward that screwed up everything he touched. He does do good work for habitat for humanity. I’ll give him that.
