Went to go change my sliders today and it turns out the Doo sliders are a bit different than the Ice Age Sliders.

Long story short is I have no slider now. Fawk! Any one know where I can find some slider for Ice Age rails?

If you do let me know asap, please and thanks!

Cheers Dan

I think they use Polaris sliders Dan

Little tip we learned back in the day oval ice racing Dan. Before you install the sliders take a drill bit and drill 1/8-3/16 diameter holes all down the slider. This will trap snow and ice in the holes and melt out when the sliders start to get hot. Adds a lot of life to them we found. May be the hot set up for this years conditions?

Yep they are Polaris Sliders, thanks Clode! And I even found a set at the Sled Shed!

Thats not a bad idea Ken, the sliders need all the help they can get this season!

Or if want to get really trick, heat up the sliders with a propane torch and cool down with a damp rag or water, do this a few times and your basically hardening up the sliders which worked well in cross country racing with minimal snow coverage.

Well I finally got my hands on one of these Baofeng UV-5R radio's. Very cool radio for the price. You can do a lot with it.
Right now I'm listening to the Revelstoke RCMP's calls...

Was going to go do some riding in the Burn at Eagles solo but I ran in to Ozone at the gas station and he was going out with a group to Frisby and invited me along
so I went with them.

I know a lot of people here don't like Ozone for what ever reason, some maybe know him and have reason and some are probably just internet
drama queens. I have never attended a Big Iron Shoot out, as huge crowds really isn't why I come to the mountains.

Ozone is nice to me and thats all I know. I haven't seen him drink even one beer on the hill this season, I don't think he even drinks at night.
He is quite the personality so I could see why people might think he's drunk though...lol

He aslo never got rescued by Revelstoke S&R this season. Me, him and my friend Jay did get lost in a drainage on Boulder in the Dark, but my
friend Homer came and found us.

Any who I had an awesome day on the hill today, a little fresh snow from last night and I was pulling some nice lines:cool:

Not sure if it's tapatalk related Dan or photo bucket being a pain but your last few posts with photos have come up like this on my phone. The radio pic was fine.

You want me to bring you a real brake reservoir? Them plastic ones are all junk! The only one I will use is the HB Master cylinder. It's the same system as what was on the old M Series cats and the old pro/dragon reservoir. They are the only ones that hold up

Today I went with my friends Riley and Alek to a top secret location. Gary and Blue Plate know where this is I'm sure, but not too many others will.

It was kinda a fail though because we got to the final little climb you do before the Alpine and Alek and Riley pussed out....
(these are my good friends and they pussed out and they know it...lol) I don't really blame them cause if you fawk up,, your sled is a right off.

Didn't want to ride all by myself, so we shutter down early. No biggie, Ill wait a couple weeks for the snow to soften up and Ill hit it up with
my friend Kallon when he gets back to Revy from work here soon.

What a bunch of pussies haha you know I would have
